The way Three Floyd's looks at it-- dating is for beers that take some time to sell. Who needs dating when Zombie and other beers sell so quick and are drank even quicker. Yep-- three floyd's homer here.

For Zombie Dust I agree, but ive seen bombers and some six packs in Indiana sit for months and years. I was so excited the first time i found some, then when i got home everything tasted like garbage. Now i only buy it from stores that turn FFF over quickly.

Just a quick update from a friend who was just at the pub getting beer to go only:
-bought 3 Urine Trouble (apparently no 2 bottle limit as stated by someone)
-line was insanely long for beer to go. Took him just about an hour to get beer and when he was finally leaving said the line was longer than when he got there.
-most people were walking out with ZD (surprise surprise! I know)

That's all I got but just wanted to give anybody who was heading out there today a heads up on the long ass to-go line.

Don"t know why three floyds hasnt renamed the beer 'cat vomit.' I'm sure it would last longer between batches... Well. Good to hear zombie dust is back again....i wonder if there is any taste difference now that a new high tech brewhouse has been installed.

I dunno about taste difference, but there was zero quantity difference. Sold out in 30 hours (9 of which they were closed). Unfortunately, I was in line after having driven down from Kalamazoo when they sold out. I've made that trip enough times that that was bound to happen eventually, but bummer anyway.

Incidentally, the bottle limit on Urine Trouble was 4 yesterday.

Parking lot was nearly full at 1pm CDT, but there was no line outside of the actual "to go" door. (Three customers were ahead of me.) Got my two cases of ZD and amscrayed back to DuPage County!

And the bearded guy working the counter was very nice -- thanked me for actually saying what I wanted, rather than something like "Two Zombie."

ZD was actually available all day yesterday too. Went there for a case of ZD, some brews and dinner. Was talking to my buddy Steve who is a bartender/server and the reason they didn't announce it was because they didn't want the shit show they had last week. I believe he said they went through 12 (i might be off on the exact number by 1 or 2) pallets of ZD in one day last week. That's 60 cases/pallet. Fuckin insane!

They were out of ZD when I got there last night around 9:15 p.m. Remaining hopeful that maybe they're just staggering the release over a few weeks to spread things around. Who knows?
