Case-Worthy Beers

    I like to try a variety of beers, a different 4-pack, 6-pack, or 750mL here and there, but, every once in a while, there are case-worthy beers that require an investment. Lagunitas' Lil Sumpin' Wild; Founders' Dark Penance; and a super sale of Badger Hill's Minnesota Special Bitter for $20 a case were mine. What beers recently tempted you into the case purchase (samplers not included, please).

    awile back at Costco stone ipa 30$ per case, nice price around here, but still a lot. I bought one!

    I'll buy cases of Two Hearted, SNPA, some easy drinking beers. It will take some time to consume as I like to mix in a high ABV stout or DIPA to offset the cost and buzz!!

    New Glarus Cran-bic is the only beer I've bought a full case of, and I'm very glad I did.

    Sculpin and Grapefruit Sculpin come to mind. I know I'll be buying a case of Narwhal this winter from work when it's released.

    I had an opportunity to get a case of Carton 077-XX back around Easter, so I took advantage of that opportunity. That was case-worthy.

    I never buy a case of everyday beer at home. The last time I bought a case of beer at a liquor store it was Unsessionable when I was in Chicago.

    I've already gone through a couple cases of AV Holy Gose. It's my personal favorite summer beer.
    My friend was able to purchase a solid case of BCBS last November, which is one of the most case worthy beers.
    The grocery store I work at has a secret deal on full cases that I take advantage often to get some GLCB Edmund Fitzgerald.

    I use to buy a case of Bourbon County every year when I visited the family in central Illinois. Can't do that now. Actually, now that it has made it to the Houston market as well, it is harder to get than ever for some reason :slight_frown:
