So far I have bought 14 cases of Narragansett Summer Ale this year

Can't claim it to have been a recent temptation, but conceptually, Pliny, Heady, and Zombie Dust all strike me as case-worthy.

Agreed on GF Sculpin, took a few to grow on me but now I crave it. Should clarify though a six pack now and then at their price point is all I'd do, but if I saw a percentage discount then I'd spring for a case for sure!

Imports that come in a green bottle (that don't come in a closed 12 pack). I tend to buy Ayinger beers by the case as well. When I get the craving for Ayinger, it's for 20 bottles, not just a couple.

Just this week, I snagged a case of Two Women, so that deserves a mention as well.

I'm not in a case state (though I imagine you could, you wouldn't get a discount beyond the 6s or 12s.
But some I would consider. Or would buy 12 packs:
    -SN Seasonal packs
-SN Hop Hunter, Summerfest, Nooner - price, drinkability, & they last with freshness
    -Odell IPA & St. Lupulin
-Deschutes Fresh Squeezed & Black Butte
    -OB Dale's Pale Ale
-Founders All Day 15 pack fresh is my next purchase I believe - in comparing session IPAs, it's up there at the top

Although Ive never bought a case of a beer I have been planning what I would spend it on. BCBS, founders bfast stout, and victory at sea, are the 3 that I know without a doubt I would enjoy drinking nonstop and not get sick of.

I bought a case of Sucks in late 2013/early 2014 when it was fresh. It's quite amazing fresh (I 5 starred it on unttappd fresh) but drops off rather quickly.

When I was living in Shanghai for the past year, found a case of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, immediately jumped on that even though it was around 100 USD for a, imho, a mediocre to decent imperial stout.

I buy Fresh Squeezed and Lil' Sumpin in cases. They're two beers I never, ever get tired of, and are reasonably priced to do so.

Case worthy beers for me are Narwhal and Bigfoot for the last two years.

I pick up a case of Zombie Dust(when I can) from the brewery. $40/cs sure beats the hell out of these $15 6pks from gouging-ass retailers!

My tastes change enough that I would only buy a case of something that I could store for a while. If I get the opportunity this year I might look into getting a case of Central Waters BB Stout when it drops. Been sitting on my last bottle for a month now because I drank up my stash too quick this year.

During the summer I purchase mostly cases and growlers. Sunshine Pils and Nooner have been this summers go-to beers. Everyone likes them and they are a good price.

Thought about this as I debate whether my local bottle shops would do this for me but, Backwoods Bastard is definitely my #1 seed. Sure, I wouldn't mind BCBS and all, but actually think for personal enjoyment, a case of Founders BB would serve me best (although I am learning there's no need to cellar any).

If I wasn't a broke dude in my early 20's and I had the opportunity I'd probably make case purchases of:
    Nugget Nectar (cans)
The Shape of Hops to Come
    Other Half Mosaic
    Fresh Jai Alai
    Sucks
    Carton Boat or 077xx

Heady. B/c if I'm driving from NYC to VT, I'm making it worth my while. And....b/c Heady holds up well. I can leave it in my fridge for a while and drink at a leisurely pace.

Other than that, I don't even like a 6 pack of something (except Sucks and Victory at Sea...plenty happy with sixers of those). 4 packs are the way to go for me. Perfect way to say "time to move on to something else" or "damn that was good, let me get 4 more before getting something else."
