Case-Worthy Beers

If I could find them in cases:
Sierra Nevada: Nooner, Celebration, Torpedo, Pale Ale, and 4-Way Ipa.
Real Ale: Firemans4 and 4^2 and Full Moon Rye
Lagunitas: Sucks, Little Sumpin' Sumpin'
Deschutes, Odells, etc., etc. Any of the beers ya'll have mentioned that I can't get!

 

I think whenever I buy Sucks I buy a case. Ditto Double Jack. I buy a case of Funkwerks Saison every two weeks for my wife. I think the last case I bought for me was St. Lupulin. Good to have arou d in the summer.

It's the 10 per cent discount for case purchases that makes me do it. It does mean you're drinking a lot of the same beer for a week or so. So I tend only to do it with beers I know I like. Re-reading that last sentence, I guess that's a big "Duh"...

 

Any high end BA stout (bbpt5, bcbs, BA blackout stout). Never actually bought a case of a beer though. Either to much of the Same beer or too expensive. Never understood case purchases

 

I recently bought a case of Troegs Sunshine Pils in cans.

The only other beer that I typically purchase by the case: Victory DirtWolf (very fresh).

Founders Imperial Stout. And when it was close to running out around my area, I bought a case of Breakfast stout.

 

If a beer is worth drinking, it's worth buying by the case.

Of course unlike many on this website, I prefer to choose beer based on what I like to drink, rather than what I've never had. The largest percentage of the beer I buy is purchased in case quantities (last few shopping trips included cases of Pivo Pils, Victory Dirt Wolf, SN Nooner and a non-case 15pk of All Day IPA (WTF- it's missing 9 cans!).

 

Sucks, Founders Imperial Stout, Founder Breakfast Stout, Wake n Bake, Double Trouble, Gubna, Dirt Wolf and BCBS if I could. I buy many cases each year, I have several refrigerators to store beer in.

 

Grapefruit sculpin is the only beer I've bought a case of in 15 years. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

8 bit cases can be found for $23. I only buy cases when it is cheap so I can have something that can get me through times of not having a ton of money. Normally I want to mix it up as much as possible.

 

I bought many cases of Goose Island 25th Anniversary Ale, and couldn't understand why it wasn't more popular.

Recently, my wife sent me a text to say Surly Pentagram was available at Costco, and ask how many she should buy. I told her to get a case, figuring she would get 3-4 bottles. Happily, she took me literally.

 

Maine Beer Company Dinner. $ 100.00 a pop, but totally worth it.

 

Safety Meeting... I know people have issues with the term dank but this stuff is DANK!

51K IPA ...this one kinda flies under the radar and is quickly becoming my go to ipa

 

One of my regrets was not buying a case of Founders Imperial Stout when I saw them.

Zombie Dust
Buy it at the brewery for $40/case. That is an awesome beer for $10 a 6-pack.

 

I live in indiana and have honestly never seen Zombie Dust in a pack at the liquor store. We do have a local pizzaria that keeps bottles stocked constantly though. They let me buy six bottles but charged me menu price so it was a $30 six pack. They also put them in a PBR carrier so I've yet to see Zombie Dust in it's actual pack

Their Gumballhead bottles were actually .50 more expensive than a bottle of Zombie Dust

 

I don't really buy cases. But I am seriously considering getting a case of Backwoods Bastard when it drops again.

 

If Ten Fidy was sold in case form, I would buy it...it would sting a little, but damn I would buy it.

 

Second Pliny, GF Sculpin, and Jai Alai.
