EDIT- looks like Cooper's is out. 4 Dogs, Sopris Wine & Spirits, and Aspen Wine & Spirits still have some of that liquid goodness.

Side Project just posted this to Twitter:

Yep, we are brewing a collaborative oak-fermented Saison with shared cultures and local peaches with @CaseyBrewing!

Another great release today. Always a fun time and a great day trip.

The Cut is a game changer. For real.

Troy Casey pointed out the barrels holding the Side Project collab when I was up there yesterday. Looks like the bottle count will be <= that of The Cut this weekend. Sounds like it won't be ready until later this year, and the fruit might not be peaches. I think I remember him saying that if they can't find a type of peach that's native to both regions, they might pick a different kind of fruit that is. Really cool idea from 2 world class breweries, though.

Best of luck to all of you who will be hunting for it. I have a feeling that as word spreads about this one, the lines at Casey are going to get even longer.

Anyone in Boulder open to trading a few bottles (Gots are current)?

Question on Casey, are releases always on the first Saturday, any restrictions of terms of buying a bottle (within allocation of course)? I'm coming up from Austin in August and I'm trying to time it so I make a release because I really really want to try these beverages.

Yeah, he plans to be open the first Saturday of each month. Long as it's within allocation limits for that release, there are no restrictions I know of. Hope you can make it, he's got a great place.

If your timing is off, let me know I can get a few bottles for you. But if you want the limited stuff, your best bet is to be there and be there early.

Much appreciated, I'll definitely be bringing stuff with me and anxious to try what will be available on site as well.

Might as well resurrect this thread with tomorrow's release coming up. I won't be able to make it this time, but I'd love to hear how it all turns out.

Everything I've ever had from Troy has been pretty great.
That goes back to when AC Golden was focusing on authentic traditional styles.
If it were easier for me to get up there, I'd probably be at the front of the line. Unfortunately life doesn't work that way :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL at the Facebook comments of Saturday's release...or I guess it could be called a Friday release since that's when people started showing up??? After the next release, I'm gonna have some popcorn ready before reading about it. Pure entertainment gold.

Maybe we are on different pages here but from what I am reading, it seems like although it was very busy, poeple seem pleased with how it was run. I haven't seen any massive bitch fests or complaints at least.

Edit: NM I see exactly what you're talking about. That dude is super sour...
