Now that he's is taken care of, I'd be happy to split with someone as well. Just trying to ride some coattails here people :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, keep Casey local! (Sorry MN guy )

It was by invite-only based on the people that came to the releases so far. He had slips of paper at the bar that you could fill your information out if you were interested in joining a future reserve program. He sent the emails a few weeks ago.

I've been told he capped it at 75 members.

But it's also perfectly fine to "split" a membership. But, the "splittees", if you will, are not really recognized members. It's all on the invited member to order, pick up the beer, etc.

Fair, and a good idea, in my opinion.

Yeah I doubt he cares what a member does with own allocations (ie. splitting with others). He just made it clear he doesn't want trustees picking up beer. The invite email also stated that members can pick up the beer for other members, which is nice if you know a member whom you trust to split up trips.

To be more correct the email he sent to potential members says "less than 150 members."

That's what I read in the e-mail too, did you hear 75 elsewhere?

I spoke to Troy at the November release didn't mention any specifics other than he wants to keep it small. Final day to sign up is the Dec 6th release so I'm sure final membership numbers will come out around then.

I was told this by a friend of Troy's who attended the November release. (I'm just a fan, not a personal friend). I didn't have any reason not to believe him. As @3bthero posted, it's going to be small no matter the final number.
