A fruited BdG sounds awesome to me. Can't make it over that way tomorrow, but I hope to acquire one at some point.

Four Dogs collab too! Blackberry Biere de Garde in whiskey barrels. That'll be coming out shortly.

Just finished our collaboration brew with Casey Brewing and Blending. It's a modified Superpower IPA base with peaches.

Hey guys, quick question, if taking a trip to Denver for 4 days in October, does it make sense to include a trip to Casey in the itinerary?

I suppose it can. Glenwood Springs isn't super close to Denver, though. It's 160 miles each way and I70 is known to slow to a crawl at the drop of a hat...or a rock. That said, you're going to find a great selection of bottles (check FB for recent lists) and both the drive and Glenwood Springs are beautiful. There's a lot to do out that way, too. Independence Pass should still be open. There are some easy side trips available through Breck/Frisco, Buena Vista, and Aspen.
Just know that it's definitely a full-day journey unless you just go straight there and back. If you're just looking to grab some bottles, I'd probably hit up a store in Denver.

My wife and I are going to be in Denver this week and decided to make the trip out to Casey. We got BPT tickets for the Friday, 5/26 2pm tour. Anyone else going? Looking to meet up with some other BAs and share some on site bottles.

Are any of the Casey beers (like regular Saison and East Bank) shelfies in Denver? Or do they always sell out?

Last I heard, you can count the number of stores in Denver proper that sell Casey on the shelf with one hand. Is that correct guys?

Small Batch has had 3-4 Casey beers on the shelf the last few times I've been in there.

Quick piggyback on this...we'll be in Fort Collins and Boulder next month, curious if Casey distributes outside of Denver at all? Guessing no, but had to ask while I had the chance. Thanks!

If you scroll up in this thread and about a page back there was a big discussion/argument about this topic specifically related to Boulder. To answer your question, North Boulder Liquors is supposed to be carrying Casey now although I've never been there (I frequent either Hazel's or Liquor Mart). Can't speak to if anywhere in Fort Collins has it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, found the posts now. Guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. Please don't let my ignorance start another dumpster fire!

    Hey there,

To keep this going, I'll be up in Avon the first week of August - cannot wait to get up there. Casey is an obvious choice. You mention a good bottle selection above, can I expect to find some of the bottles mentioned as must-tries? I am not a newbie when it comes to barrel or 100% spontaneous fermentation, so FWIW I'd like to find some of the more complexed offerings I keep hearing about. I'm driving up from Texas with some SPON looking to share with some good folks. Thanks for any ideas.

Hey all - I'm headed to Denver area early next week... first time in the area. Whereabouts would I look for Casey bottles? I'm also not opposed to a trade.

Where in Denver? North side should check Mr. Bs, Small Batch, sure there are some others.

Finally got to Casey today for a tour and man I was impressed. I really liked the format of the tour, tasting and ability to buy bottles to go. I was afraid that I would not be able to partake in the on site bottles since I was alone, but that didn't matter since many that bought bottles shared them so I bought some and did the same. I was so happy with the experience I busted out a bottle of Atrial for our guide Chris. Can't wait to get back in December.

That is awesome, glad you had a good time! Definitely no one named Chris working there though haha. John is the one who gives the tours (growing his beard back now and always rocking his gold chain).
