Decent list of beers this year but I stopped going years ago, but its still a good fest overall. I am more stoked to check out the WA Collaboration Fest coming up: https://washingtonbeer.com/festivals/washington-beer-collaboration-festival.php
Eh, collaboration brews are generally pretty meh-ish to me, so this fest really isn't of any interest to me. Have fun though.
I went last year (or was it the year before), and enjoyed it very much (I'd always wanted to attend this fest). That being said, I'm not sure I need to do it again any time soon. It wasn't the easiest location to get to from Tacoma, and ultimately I just figured the quality of the event didn't justify the hassle. As happens so often in the NW, I considered what was available right close to home, and figured that was more than sufficient to keep me happy, without driving up to Seattle (or in this case, having the GF drop me off there and then pick me up later).
Anybody make it? I thought I might be in at the last moment, but it didn't happen. I was bit surprised that North Sound won Peoples Choice in the first session though.
I enjoyed it this year. Plenty of variety; not a fad-fest like years past (like where everybody brings a bourbon barrel somethingorother). I like the experimentation that Cask Fest encourages, though ... even though there were a few misses, for the most part brewers brought some pretty good stuff.
