I love Citra hopped beers and want to try this out. I want a freshie for my first time. I saw some 1/4 cans. Anything newer?
I do not like Citra (I have stated this many times) and Citra is just one of four hops used, and this is an excellent IPA. I think the other hops make this beer so good. I think this more an Amarillo hop in the aroma, and Azzaca and Centennial in flavor. Drinking a 01/25 canning (bought at Legacy in Waconia) now and loving it.
Had this on draft tonight... Very refreshing. I may be drinking the shit out of this over the summer months.
I have to agree (except with the part about not liking citra, I love that shit). It's a very good beer but I remember getting a lot more of the centennial when I drank it than anything else.
I believe Heritage had some fresh cans last time I was there. I'll be stopping by this week sometime, and will check the dates.
Just bought a 6 pack at TW Bloomington. Canned 2/1, right next to TG Pseudo Sue 2/11 and fresh Todd 2/17. Excited to put them all next to each other.
Maple Grove TW has 2/1. Picked up some George Hunter Stout..Damn good.. Had this at the original Brewery in growlers and I'm happily reminiscing. They also just restocked Pseudo 2/11.
Did a brewery tour at castle danger last night - solid crew there. No nonsense approach to their beers. Kuddos to them!
This is my new go to IPA. Had a 2/15 that had a great tropical aroma and not too much bitterness that some IPA's have.
