CBS Bottles in NJ

The only time I ever saw it in NJ it was on tap.

 

Its part of Hunterdons distro next week as bombers. I know my local store is getting a case which coincides with something i heard that CBS distro will basically be the same as KBS. So if you know a store that got KBS, odds are theyre getting CBS as long as they ordered it. As for when, ask when they get their hunterdon delivery.

 

Yea hunterdon has it for new releases next week so whatever day your store gets hunterdon should be the day they get it.

 

The Hunterdon/Founders rep for NJ said next week:

 

It hasn't been bottled since 2011. I remember hearing around 30-35 cases made it to NJ.

Just scored a bottle at the Wegman's near Bridgewater!

Picked up a bottle at Wegmans Princeton. Had to ask someone to grab it from the back. $24.99/bottle.

 

Apparently had it at Spirits in Brick.... but it already sold out .....

 

I paid $24.99 for it

 

Shop Rite liquors in Northvale had two bottles left as of 2 hours ago for $27.99. Had to ask someone to even know it was there. BCBS, Firestone XXI, Velvet Merkin, BA Ten Fidy all on the counter, just not the CBS.

 

What time did you pick it up?

 

For those in North Jersey, Glen Rock Bottle King has it at $23, 1 pp/day. I checked Total Wine in River Edge on lunch, and they said to check back on Wednesday night.

Edit: The guy at Bottle King was super friendly and also had BA Ten Fidy and FW Anniversary and Velvet Merkin in the back. And Victory Java Cask four packs were out on the floor as well, though fairly pricey at $25.

 

I know this is one of THE Whale beers and it hasn't been bottled in 6 years, but that is a big chunk of change for one bottle at $25. Especially at Christmas time. With Backwoods Bastard going to a year-round release, I wouldn't be surprised if this releases next year.

 

Today around 2:00pm. Another guy grabbed one when I was there as well. They also had some BCBS too it seemed.
