Hi all, wanted to know: When was CBS bottled? From what I could find, it was only officially released in 2011, according to Founders website. But, I've seen folks stating that it was released again in bottles in either 2014 or 2015. Does anyone know if it was bottled after 2011? And if so, any idea of the # of cases? Considering a possible pursuit of it via trade.
I wasn't aware of any bottling aside from the original. I know it's been released in draft recently though. Maybe people got mini growlers of it and are considering that a "bottle"? I've tried it on draft a few times recently in the Buffalo, NY area with some of the bars doing tappings of it.
Ok. Damn now this thing is really a whale. I had it on tap yesterday at a Founders tap takeover and it was delish. Guess I'll have to wait until next year's SF beer week to have again! (Fingers crossed)
There are rumors going around that we should see in bottles again soon. I have my doubts, but one can hope!
Same goes for Curmudgeons better half so I have heard. I had a bottle that was fantastic, but have heard reports of it being pretty faded. It is a real roll of the dice, and I certainly wouldn't trade for CBS unless someone was being pretty reasonable in what they wanted.
I'm drinking this on tap right now at some random pub in Philadelphia. It's a shell of its former self.
