My friend drove down for it. He was able to get an 8oz and later a 4 oz pour.

That's a bit disappointing to hear, I was hoping for somewhat of a maple bomb

Looks like this is from the original release which by most accounts has fallen off considerably.

That was my original thought too, but after looking at their Facebook, it looks like what they meant by that was that the beer aged in barrels for 4 years. They said the keg was fresh from Founders, so it'd seem weird for Founders to be shipping out all fresh kegs and then a random old one. Also 2014 Bolt Cutter bottles? Weird flyer

I don't think Founders ages CBS for a whole four years. That's a very long time in a barrel. There have been reports of other bars tapping kegs from the original release, which IRRC was at the end of 2011.

It's not 4 years old. It's from this year. Cleared it up with Sidecar and Founders. There was some confusion along the way, but it's definitely a new keg.

Yeah I'm not really sure where they got their info, 4 years definitely sounds wayyy too long to me

I saw on Facebook that the price at sidecar would be $16 for the ticket. Is that normal for what this has gone for?

I think it's generally been about half that...although I guess a 10oz. pour is a bit larger than normal too

Pricing is tough for this one. Seems high, but nobody knows what else they had to commit to to get this keg. I'm confident that they had to commit to buying other stuff as well. That's usually how this game works.

Where do you see the price on facebook? I can't seem to find it.

Do you guys think there will be a line formed waiting to just get there tix today. Wondering what time is safe to show up today to be assured a tix. (80 glasses = 80 tixs?)

I do think there will be a line today. I would guess that you would be safe if you showed up by 330. Of course, every time that I think that I understand the Philly beer scene, I get surprised with something. It's a tough call today given that this all materialized within the past couple days and the weather is brutal.

The price was in the comments section of the Facebook post. Did there end up being a line? I want able to get over there.

People showed up at 4 and were able to get tixs. Saw about 40-50 people in line when I left shortly after 4.

The SideCar tapping ended up working out really well. Showed up at 5:30, got my pour and had some good food. CBS was everything I was hoping it would be. Let that thing warm up for 15 minutes and it's spectacular. I hope I can try it at least once more!

Just heard Greeks Next Door will be tapping this March 1st. I really wanna go but don't know if I feel like dealing with the crowds and craziness that I'm sure will ensue

Ugh I have the same sentiment, but this is the closest I've seen it to me and I may be forced to go.
