I actually saw the tweet but for some reason I read "Founders Breakfast Stout"... I'm still kicking myself for this one
Seeing as how it's Friday and all, I figured it was okay to leave the office for a late morning CBS. Just glad I checked Twitter when I did! I had heard of a handful of kegs hitting the state a little while ago, but this is the first one I've come across.
Got there about 12:30 and got one of the last pours. First time tasting and will be forever seeking it out.
Had one, was awesome. Was pretty funny how packed the place was at lunchtime. They had a bunch of other good beers on too, and have all week due to it being their anniversary week.
I know for a fact that Bottle Rev has one. My guesses from there would be Player's Retreat in Raleigh and Sam's in Durham. Not sure where to go from there. Think about places that sell a lot of Founders beer.
Bottle Rev will have cbs on tap this Sunday along with hopslam. As much as I love that shop and the folks there, I'm not going within a 2 mile radius of that crazy on Sunday.
Attended Bottle Rev release and it was great. Well run and not crazy at all. CBS was fantastic.....lived up to all of it's hype!!!
