CBS in San Antonio

I have this awful feeling that our incredible Texas beverage distributors wont have this out to stores this weekend.

I think we'll be lucky to be lining up for it before the end of the year.

 

A few places I spoke to said it was to be received til the 3rd, which is a Sunday and means it won't get sold here (by liquor stores)

 

You'd be lucky to find it at an HEB. Hopefully I'm able to flag some down.

 

Looking like this won’t show up until next week based on the phone calls I’ve made in the Austin area

 

Anyone find this yet?? I'm going to my local HEB to see if they got some in yet and will update.

 

One HEB in Austin tweeted a 4pm Tuesday release. Somebody else on here, I think, said Wednesday for one of the Texas cities.

 

If anything like California, there is eventually going to be tons of it. Saw Total Wine and BevMo pics in another thread with stacks upon stacks of it sitting on the floor. Never know though.

 

Nothing at my local HEB yet. Hopefully in the next few days.

 

Was told that it hit at De Zavala Specs. I haven't gone so I cannot confirm, but this was told to me by the Specs on 1604 and 281.

 

Saw it at Whole Food Post Oak today. $31.99/bottle with no limit.

 

Just walked out of Whole Foods in The Woodlands with a bottle of CBS at $31+. Guy at Spec's last week said they look to get it Wednesday (tomorrow).

 

HEBs have been best spots I’ve seen in Austin area $23.99 most places 1pp but ran into one that was no limit.

 

I haven't had any luck and can't drive around during the day or make it up to Austin. If anyone is interested in a bottle of 2017 Abraxas, I can do an IP trade in San Antonio. 1:1 CBS for Abraxas.

 

Landed in Northwest Houston. Total Wine Willowbrook has it and popped the price up to $27 limit 1 and found it at Vintage Park HEB for a reasonable $24 limit 2. Not sure how much TW has left, they looked at me like i was crazy when I asked how many cases they had (I guess they thought I was going to return for more), there were a couple left at HEB, not sure if they had more in the back. Good Hunting

 

It's everywhere in Austin. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone to land some. Eventually should be the same in SA.

HEB grant/spring cypress sold out.

 

Went to Spec's at Louetta & 45 they said it will be arriving Friday. I'd assume that to be the same for other locations too.
