CBS is back

Got to Founders at 6pm today, and had 6 pours without waiting. Should be flowing throughout the week-end.

 

I understand the first point but how do you conclude the second point? Did someone working there mention this?

 

I was told that they should be in stock throughout the week-end. That was before my 6 glasses, but still.

 

MKE got 10 plus sixtels. Sitting in the warehouse as I type. Should be hitting the area very, very soon. Also, Cleveland Pub and Romans are getting Vanilla Rye on tap if anyone is interested??

 

Anyone know if this will make it to Madison beyond the one keg at Cooper's earlier this week?

Finally had a sample in Kalamazoo yesterday. Tasty!

 

Had a couple pours yesterday. They were pouring all day at Founders yesterday. Delicious! Similar to KBS, but with slight maple swwetness.

 

Anybody know when Clubhouse BFD in Rochester is tapping it? Trying to help my beer noob buddy out.

I was told they were tapping after the holiday's. I was told they have too many holiday parties right now and wanted to wait until afterwards. I would guess the week of January 5th or the next week.

 

I was there last week and asked the bartender, since it was stout week if they had it and were tapping it. He said they had it and it most likely wasn't going to get tapped anytime soon.

 

Hmm. Was out of town when this happened. Does anyone have any idea if Madison got more than one keg of CBS?

In Madison, I know that Tipsy Cow & Dexter's do not have kegs of CBS (both had regular FBS in the cooler though). I asked them both last week. Given previous tap take-overs & special events, my best bets would be for this to show up eventually at Glass Nickel Pizza (Atwood), Dexter's, or Craftsman (Middleton). Keep an eye on social media or call around if you really want to know.

 

I could see someone sitting on it until craft beer week.
