    Speaking of Blis, the cork from the cap broke off in the bottle on me 2 days ago. Has anyone else had this experience? Does that mean my batch was contaminated?

    Someone should age a sour beer in some of those Blis bourbon barrel maple sherry vinegar barrels.

    That obscure product is where they get their maple barrels and rumor has it, that's the bottleneck. Also, I can vouch for Blis and having really great stuff. I ordered some bbl aged maple and some vanilla maple for a gift and I always fill in the extra fields in the address with horseshit like... Company: Dr. Brainstorms Secret Lair. They sent a personalized letter saying they enjoyed my sense of humor, sent a free hat and free bottle of their new hot sauce. Ten thumbs up from me.

    I'm not sure we are a big enough market for Founders sadly.... Chicago gets 18-20. If we did get 1 or 2 barrels who do you think would get them? 20 tap? Sinking Ship? Hop Cat?

    I would think 20 tap, because they have a good relationship with them. I know there have been numerous tap takeovers and we normally get a decent amount of KBS tappings, so I would hope we'd at least get one or two?! But maybe not...

    It tapped at 4, kicked at 4:30 according to the guy I just talked to who was working there. DAMN!

    Boy, if it kicked at 4:30 I must have done some Back to the Future shit cause I got there at 6:00 and got a pour. It wasn't on their menu and it didn't even have a proper handle so I would only believe that it kicked if I was there. I left at 6:45 and they were still pouring.

    Hah... CBS at Joe Louis Arena Olympia Club tonight for the Wings game. 12oz pour for $12. That might put an end to the question of "Whats the best beer at a pro sports event?"
