CBS is back

I had it at Rare Bird in Traverse City on Saturday...Obviously, it was amazing, but I still prefer KBS

 

I think you're a little late man. I posted earlier that Hagermeister Park in GB had it on tap last Friday I believe. No word on anywhere else in the area.

hey i was there. had KBS and CBS back to back and i gotta say as much as i like KBS, that maple just makes it that much better for me.

It was funny, because there was a guy in line and he was like, "what is everybody lined up for? How do I get a beer?" (Kinda being a jerk). And I was like, "Are you aware of whats happening?" and the dude was totally clueless and said, "ohhh everybody is waiting for free beer? I am willing to pay so let me for first!" Anyway, the dude ended up leaving as he was cussing out the door....

Yeah, I can see where the maple would have made it better. I have never been a maple fan, but it was incredible, no doubt!

 

i was at the bar near where the line was. i noticed there were quite a few people that were just there rather than there for the tap takeover. thats all cool with me though since i was able to get more than one pour. im pretty sure KBS lasted all day and was still on when i left.

 

Had a chance to have this on draft in VA yesterday (a few pours thankfully!) and it was sublime. Definitely a step up from KBS. So good!

 

Weirdly enough, I may have seen you. Are you a younger kid that was taking pictures when they took the crown royal bag off the tap?

 

i wouldnt say im a younger kid anymore, just turned 32 a month ago. i was one of many taking a pic once they had a bunch of full glasses lined up though. seemed like that tap was open for a full ten minutes before they finally closed it for a minute. the pics didnt turn out worth a shit though. i was wearing the Pliny the Elder shirt.

CBS will be tapped at 6:30 tonight at Mass Ave Pub for any Indy people looking. I doubt I'll be able to make this event, does anyone know if CBS will be tapped anywhere else in Indy this month? Need to get my hands on this after having a small (not big enough) taste of it at Winterfest.

 

How's the crowd at Map Room tonight?

 

Tapped yesterday at the Bodega in Lacrosse. No announcement except to the local homebrew group meeting here tonight.

 

A friend is there and made it sound like they may be tapped soon.....pretty bummed I missed out, but with the Grafton news and me living a few blocks away, I think i'd be a fool not to try and check that out.

 

Smoke street in Milford had it on tap yesterday and its apparently still flowing according to untappd

 

Yea it's just too bad that one's on a Saturday which will make the crowd much larger... plus, don't think that's in the Mrs. vday plans

 

CBS kicked in about 35 minutes tonight at Mass Ave. Jen Cook, the Founders Rep, hinted that there may be more opportunities in Indy "throughout the year". Quite randomly, I was the first one served CBS tonight. So good.

Went to check it out after seeing this and grabbed a glass. It was still flowing and pretty empty inside. People at the bar near me were ordering Coors and Red's Apple Ales. Couldn't even find anyone to drag along with me on a Tuesday night to try this.

Anyone that's still struck looking for this, I recommend stopping by tomorrow as I don't see it kicking tonight.

 

Come to founder's, were drowning in CBS over here and need help making these kegs kick!
