CBS is back

It went pretty quick at Cleveland Pub yesterday...the number I heard was 19 minutes. One of the bartenders was outside before they opened saying they absolutely would not pour before 11:30 but they started pouring around 11:10 and it was gone by 11:31. It was pretty good and I am glad I got the chance to try it; it was one of those beers I wasn't sure I'd ever get to try. There are supposedly a few more kegs floating around the Milwaukee area so more madness to come!

What time? My crew left about 3, not too long after KBS kicked.

 

I checked it in at 4:03 on untappd.

I believe it went KBS, backwoods, black rye, CBS.

 

Thanks guys for the details, I was finally able to try it thanks to this thread at this event.

I thought DN was a bit disorganized, though. Having everyone come up to the bar to buy the tickets and then to get the beers was a bit of a you-know-what show at both release times. I have no idea why we couldn't sit at our seats after having previously purchased the tickets, and then let our server bring the beers back with our tickets.

I felt bad for the people at the bar who weren't there for the event as they had all sorts of people shoving themselves towards the bar around them.

 

I was there and felt like the staff performed admirably for all the craziness. Definitely one of the best beers I've ever had and worth all the crazy.

 

I definitely agree regarding the staff - they did a great job trying to turn out ticket/beer orders ASAP. I just disagreed with the position management put them in.

 

Just wanted to say thank you CBS was.awesome thank you for the heads up!!!!

 

If you don't have anything to do around 5 or 6 pm tomorrow, Slows in Detroit will be tapping KBS @ 5pm (among others) and CBS @ 6pm.

 

For the Chicago area folks

 

There's another chance to get CBS in Indy tonight at HopCat. Founders is tapping 15 beers in total including KBS, CBS, Blushing Monk, Big Lushious, etc. Starts at 6:00 pm.

I will be at Founders July 4th weekend, is CBS on tap there or is it gone? I won't care too much either way, but I would like to try it if I can.

 

Sorry, but it's pretty much gone. Obviously they have some kegs still, and I'm sure it will randomly show up on tap maybe once every few months, but aside from that and certain events (mainly the Black Party) it's basically gone.

It was on for founders fest, but other than that I haven't seen it lately. I get to the taproom pretty regularly hopefully they just throw it on for no reason someday.

 

Just received word that CBS kicked. Still plenty of other stuff.
