CBS is back

Ditto that for Indianapolis - hoping I'll be able to get a taste and cross it off the list!!

 

I'm on the look out! Following a few insiders, so hopefully we'll be able to find it if it comes!

 

Does anyone know when they will have it available at the actual taproom?

 

I inquired about this on their FB (since I'll be around founders early Sat. night.. and their response was, you never know..
pretty sure that doesn't help ya but I sure hope it's available

 

Ya I tweeted them and they just said they would announce when its available and post on their website. I was worried it would just be a secret thing. I did hear a rumor they would put it on today but that doesn't appear to be true

 

Wurst Bar has a keg coming for their Ugly Sweater Party on December 23. First 50 people in wearing an ugly sweater get a ticket for CBS, next 50 get one for KBS.

Thank god Lansing/Grand Rapids have been "quiet" releases for CBS (so far, anyway). I was able to walk into a half full bar after work on Tuesday and get to try this. Can't imagine the craziness behind marketed/ticketed events, though I will say it is well worth your while .

 

I was surprised to still see check ins on Untappd today at Horrocks in Lansing.

 

Driving to southwest MI tomorrow to visit family. If there is anything worth loving in this universe, I'll be able to get a taste tomorrow at Horrocks.

 

Ok, it's all quiet on the Western front here... anyone know of any place that has it on tonight? Confirmation of places that already kicked?

 

Rumor has it that The Mitten Bar has it, not to be confused with The Mitten (Brewery). It's in Luddington, MI a ways up North, but on the West Coast.

 

I would just check untappd to see where people are checking it in from

 

Has anyone come across a confirmed time for Ashley's CBS tapping tomorrow? I assume it will be 6pm but haven't seen anything to verify.

 

Yeah, they're really playing that one close to the vest. And are there really no other announced tappings in Ann Arbor yet? Ashley's is gonna be a madhouse tomorrow.

Hopcat and 4elf will command a good portion of the region's beer nerd attention but it'll likely still be very busy.

 

They just posted it will be at 3pm.

0 announcements of a 12/14 tapping so far as I know.

 

This has been the most bizarre release I've ever seen from Founders. I don't know if I'll have a chance to taste it this time around, but I sure hope I do!
