CCB back in Atlanta??

of course I left my phone at home today and missed the tweet from Tower.

 

I'll be coming up through Atlanta hanks giving week if anyone wants to do some Ip trades for some CCB stuff! Just BM me !

 

Ended up finding a 6 pack of Jai Alai at greens. I think most of the bigger stores will get some form of CCB shipment in the next couple days if they haven't already. Greens looked to be empty when I left.

 

I just bought the last sixer at Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe a few minutes ago. Canned on 10/08. Haven't had any in over a year. Excited!

 

Nice.. perhaps some of the regular offerings might make their way up here now...

Now... to get on the hog, and track me a sixer down. Been close to a year since I had it last!

 

I'll be in Tampa in December so I'll let you guys have it but this is great news. Hope we get more of their stuff in the future.

 

I got me a sixer of it. Left a case at greens for everyone else. Man it's drinking so good. Canned on the 8th of this month.

Pisses me off though. We get random CCB ipas fresher than sweetwater can supply just down the damn street!

Looks like hopcity gets some tomorrow. 2 sixer limit so doesn't sound too damn limited. They like to hype shit up and announced a release time I think. Forget when.

I picked up a couple sixers are Green's and was super happy to find the Oct 8th canning date.

Yeah this gets me sometimes too. I've gotten plenty of old Hopsecutioner and SW IPA at Green's. It's always disappointing when that happens. I wish the local guys would be better about bottling dates instead of 'best before' dates.

 

I wanted to buy a case of it, but thought better of it, and left it to sit on the floor for others to enjoy. Not an everyday sighting to have some CCB on the floor in Georgia. Hoping for more in the future ( ya hear that CCB?! ), and have another staple IPA to grab.

Anyways, I always check the dates of the SW IPA.. I never get the Hopsecutioner, but the SW, I try and get it inside of a month, but struggle to get it inside of 3 weeks seems to be the best I can remember. Probably a case of them making so damn much, and it sitting in cold storage and at the distributor's warehouse before it hits the stores and moves out front.

Had a fresh keg the other week, and it's night and freakin day from fresh keg, to older bottle.

anyways- The jai alai was drinking fantastic last night!

Well fuck yes.. FUCKING YES. I'll finish the 2 six packs in short notice then, and bring a bunch to share to NC this weekend.

Now I'm looking forward to more than just the basic, greedy... I know.

 

I think with the recent increased capacity, CCB will again venture into states outside of FL regularly, with the core beers at a minimum. Great news for all!

 

Picked up two sixers today at a non-craft centric store in Athens, they had a two sixer limit. At a shop that has never had a limit. Even on black note, or kbs when they only got one case of each. Obviously the demand is crazy

 

Which store, if you don't mind me asking?

 

I heard CCB will be sending shipments up here every 6 weeks... take that fwiw.

I also found more Jai Alai just now at Total Wines Alpharetta. That ups my count to 3 6 packs
