I posted an ISO for those and some BC variants and got crickets: http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...-1-iso-ccb-bohr-dirac-lil-bc-variants.267904/ Is the problem that there are not many left in the wild, am I off, or both?
Interesting. My buddy is finishing his physics Phd soon. Well sorta soon....I've wanted to get these for us to drink to celebrate his degree forever. I had something going once but it fell apart and I dont recall why. I'd be curious if you get lots of responses just to gauge how much is out there.
Damn, got some competition lol. I am also in a physics PhD program and CCB is one of my favorite breweries, I've had 2 of them on tap but I really want the bottles to crack at appropriate occasions. And fyi, I got a bunch of messages offering various Bourbon County variants and Life is Like... but no Dirac or Bohr.
in feburary of last year i traded a mw, wanderer, backyard, oude tart cherries and beauregarde for dirac, bohr, nielsbohrium and hunah
As someone who has both had these beers recently and traded them...I'd say they're not worth your time to chase and not worth what it'll take to get them. There are probably so few complete sets out there that anyone that has them will want more than they are worth taste wise. I had all three a couple months ago and they have not held up well. Most of CCBs earlier stuff does not stand up well to aging (a primary reason why Wayne Wambles is a huge advocate of drinking CCB fresh)
