My brother in law is heading up to PA to visit in 2 weeks. I need to let him know what I want before he leaves. Can anyone help me out with what seasonals/specialty beers are bottled and currently available or will be available over the next 2 weeks at the brewery. Thanks for the help!
Right now they have the usuals (Jai Alai, Maduro, Florida Cracker, Hotter than Helles) and Cucumber Saison, Homefront IPA and Jose Marti. A lot of stuff in barrels but nothing being bottled from what I have heard But the Belgian Quad in rum barrels and the Mikkeler Cherry Cordial Collab should be coming out in the foreseeable future supposedly. There was still some bolita for sale at the total wine across the street from the brewery if you were looking for that. Good luck
I wouldn't expect the Quad or Life is Like to be out soon. Cubano Espresso should return this month though.
Bottles or on tap? I knew it was on tap, but it was not bottled as of last Thursday when I was there.
no problem! will it be at the brewery now that is a great question but it could possibly be at Total Wine or Whole Foods next door. I haven't seen it in any stores yet but it should be hitting distro soon I would think.
You caught before my edit, looks like his Brother in law is in town now so he's covered. But yes, it sees some distribution but it seemed to go fairly quickly back in February so I wouldn't chance it if it's your thing.
Smart man. Just drink it fresh. Found a 2012 bottle in January of this year hiding in the back of fridge and tasted nothing like it fresh.
When I called the liquor store I frequent they told me CCB stated they're not distributing a lot of Cubano and that they wanted to keep it mostly in Tampa. I don't know how valid this info is, but hey. Also, if anyone is still looking for Home Front, the Total Wine by my job in Orlando still had a few bottles when I was there last week. I'd by happy to check for anyone that's interested.
There is still a bit of Homefront right around the corner at Whole Foods, they had 2 cases left earlier this week anyway.
Cubano Espresso, Cucumber Saison and Jose Marti all still available in large amounts at the brewery as of this morning.
