Had this last weekend and loved it. Trying to find more. What are the bottles going for lately? Original cost? One time only or will they make it again? Thanks for any and all responses
The cost at the tasting room was $20 bucks. It was a one time only release. (so they say). I have a bottle. BM me what were you thinking?
It is delicious. If I recall correctly, wasn't this around 1200 bottles? I might be confusing the bottle count with Leon.
i have heard they will make ths one again, maybe not this year but 2014. i have a couplee extras as well. traded away a lot of them.
A few weeks ago I was at CCB with a buddy that is opening a brewery and got the grand tour from Wayne, He said that they have all the Recipes for all the beers they have made and "MAY" make some of the one offs again but they could be under different names. So Leon could come back as Estefab or Fernando. ya never know
I had this at Brewvival and wasn't all that impressed. It was interesting but I can't imagine wanting to seek out and trade for a bottle of it.
I traded a Cantillon for mine. I think it was Iris, I can't remember for sure. Cognac Imp Stout is amazing, it was better than Cognac Dark Lord in my humble opinion.
i got 3 in all, 2 with FFAC and 1 with a leon for baller stout+ really really good beer, i liked it better than leon
it was my favorite beer of 2012, thank god it has a generic name and label that gets confused with whiskey milk porter, cuz if it had a face of some famous guy on it, Chavez sweet stout, good luck getting any. too soon?
