    Anyone else as stoked as i am this is going to be the first release? It hasnt gotten much run on these forum pages, but I've been looking forward to seeing a CCB quad...

    hmmm.... I suppose it was, but it had all the fruit (mango or apricot or papaya or something...) and that goofy Mikkeller label. But yes, i stand corrected. At any rate, i remember seeing the label approvals for this one a while back and being excited for it. Im glad its not something they've done often...

    I suck at tasting notes...I just enjoy good beer :confused:
    It wasn't boozy at all, which was unexpected coming from a 15% quad. It's got that quad aroma and smell (bannana, cinnamon, etc) but steals some color and flavor (vanilla, orange peel, molasses) from the rum barrels they aged it on. To be honest you can probably just read the label and get the idea. It's a wonderful blend of fruits and spices.

    It'll be out in a couple days for everyone to enjoy...not so crazy to see one 5 days before it's release

    I was mostly curious about the boozy aspect. Glad you enjoyed it! I'm excited now.

    Do you work for the brewery? just curious how you were able to get it ahead of time I want these connections! :wink:
