Someone is going to try and fill a 32 oz growler for me, and I was wondering what they normally cost. I was thinking either Toco or Jai Alai, since I cant get growlers of the interesting beers. I cant find the prices on the website, so how much does a growler of Toco or Jai Alai cost? Thanks.
yeah, i would guess around 8 tops for either of those, considering they only charge 8 for the special growlers on Tuesday.....
When I was there a month ago, it was $4 for the growler and $7 to fill it. Like badboy said, the website has a list of what is avail in a growler and they are very good about updating it regularly.
Not necessarily. They usually have one other option you can take at least a 32 oz growler to go. For the most part it's nitro dry Irish stout and they don't serve that in the tasting room. I've also seen itsa and nitro hornswoggled as well only at the growler station.
They won't growler nitro beers, I've tried before, and ever since they got the new tasting room, their website is up to date as to what they growler. Only time they have a special one is Tuesday morning at 11, they have 1 keg of a special release.
I guess they're starting growler tuesdays at 12pm now, an hour later. (I guess they can say they last an hour longer now lol). But as far as I know right now tomorrow is still up in the air 11 or 12.
and todays growler sounds awesome! from facebook: Cigar City Brewing Growler Tuesday starts in one hour. Today's special growler: Torcedores Series Josh Brengle's Double IPA! We just kegged up a fresh batch of this 9.5% hoppy beast yesterday and want you to be able to take it home. $12 for a growler fill, 32oz growlers only, 2 growler limit. Cheers
My friend in Tampa snagged me 2 growlers today, and a 3rd of some fresh Jai Alai. I'm glad they chose Brengle's DIPA for today, very good beer and it's super fresh
