CCB Growler Tuesday Thread

I love Tocobaga and I absolutely loved this. Was glad it was still on Friday when I stopped in. Picked up a crowler after having a pint.

 

Peppermint Brown Ale is today's offering

 

I was hoping today's was gonna be good on account of Hunahpu day tickets being released to catador members. I guess I was very wrong lol

 

Maybe we'll get a great christmas surprise next week.

 

That sounds like the worst thing ever...

 

When I first started going, there used to be a line to get a crowler / growler, and several times it sold out first. Also used to be tons of people from opening at 11 thru lunch hour. Not so much anymore.

It's been less than ideal lately, and ike everyone else, hoping something "special" is coming soon.

 

i have said it for a while now, but they used to do some nice growler tuesdays. peach white oak, rum pineapple white oak (i think), BA Jose Marti...i think the luster/idea of growler tuesday has been tarnished a bit with some of the offerings the last 6-9 months. it is nice if you are within 10 minutes of working at CCB and can go on lunch break...for me, i live over an hour away so i pick and choose when i go to CCB, and typically, in the past, i would try and plan my trips down on a Tuesday so I could get the growler tuesday offering. But not for a peppermint brown ale, or cypress humidor pale ale, or whatever other weird combination CCB can come up with.

 

Where is @gunhaver ???

 

I think he was told not to interact with people because he's a dick.

 

Looks like he got banned for it too. I've heard he's around the interwebs still...

*Can't believe it's been over a year since he graced us with the inside scoop.

 

Any word on today's growler?

 

It's probably going to be a cedar brown ale with rosemary further aged on white oak.

 

I'm guessing the new Lager w/ maple syrup aged on candy corn and candy canes.

 

Sorry, peppermint brown ale makes me sad in the pants

 

Most of the offerings have been sad lately. They used to be pretty good! Not sure what's going on as of late.
