CCB Growler Tuesday Thread

Today's #GrowlerTuesday is Habanero Mango IPA. $9/32oz, $16/64oz, 7.5%ABV.
We're going old school today and offering growler fills only due to the fact that our crowler seamer is being serviced. We'll fill and 32, 64 or 128oz growler. Cheers!

 

This week's ‪#‎GrowlerTuesday‬ offering is Chocolate Coconut Brown Ale. This treatment was made with cacao nibs and fresh coconuts! We'll be filling growlers and crowlers beginning at noon. $9/32oz, $16/64oz.

 

Today's ‪#‎GrowlerTuesday‬ is Citrus Gose and was made with lime, lemon, orange and grapefruit. $10/32oz, $18/64oz.

 

How long into the day do these fills typically last? I'll be down ina couple weeks and thinking about my itinerary.

 

Depends on what the Growler Tuesday offering is and how crowded the taproom is (obviously goes quicker around the holidays when there are more visitors in town, or during TBBW).

But it typically last into the afternoon and sometimes into the next day.

 

I agree with everything @Bartos is saying (though would modify "sometimes into the next day" to "rarely into the next day") and so would stress that if your hearrt's set on getting the Crowler Tuesday selection, you're better off being in the tasting room as close to noon as possible! Safe travels!

 

Thank you for the input. Have to wait and see what's offered in two weeks, but I doubt I'll be there at opening.

Today's offering is Rum Soaked Hazelnut Scotch Ale (Big Sound). $15/32oz $26/64oz. Still currently available (light crowd today)

 

So...after a streak of less than stellar options, the last three weeks have been great. Rum Soaked Hazelnut Big Sound was delicious and Citrus Gose might be one of my top 5 beers this year. Better than most everything I had at Hunahpu Day.

I wish they would offer Citrus Gose regularly.

 

Strawberry margarita gose was my favorite at huna day. If they canned those I'd be screwed

 

Anyone with any advanced word of what they are doing tomorrow? In St Pete for another day and trying to plan my day around a potential trip to Tampa. Would be great to know something before like noon tomorrow

 

The earliest they usually let anyone know is 10:30 or 10:45. They sometimes posts before 11am on the El Catador FB page. That being said...the also sometimes don't post till 11:45 on the El Cat page and not till after 12 on the general CCB page. It all depends on the day

So happy to see CCB getting on board with the coconut fad, albeit a little late. But it's a great adjunct for their Maduro and stouts.

Sounds great. Two weeks in a row that it's kicked before I got off work. I have been spoiled by it lasting into the evening.
