$20 for a 32oz growler? CCB continues to amaze.

The last cuvee was probably worth it. That.. fuck no.

Why? This is for a 32oz growler. It's a cheaper per ounce price than either 110k or Milkmaid bottles. Hell, it's a cheaper price than a number of other most likely inferior bombers of stouts.

Cuvée de Fromm 4 was amazing. They need to bottle it, regularly release it, or at least have in on draft in the tasting room. I loved it. I'd gladly pay $14 or $15 for a bomber (slightly higher cost per ounce than the growler Tuesday cost)

Usually...but there are so many that I can't always keep track.

Plus, it comment wasn't that outlandish. A number of people in the FB beer group I am in expressed similar opinions about the price

Wanted to throw in that the new Wal Mart liquor store is selling 64oz empty growlers. Do they know something we don't, or are they just stup.....er, unaware of the laws as I know them?

They probably don't know. Someone probably pulled a 'craft is popular, let's order these growlers from the warehouse' and didn't actually investigate local laws at all.

Yeah, based off the most recent news and reactions on the "Growler Bill" this is looking like a complete screw up. With the recent amendments backed by the Distributors, the "Growler Bill" is now a huge detriment to FL breweries. It's looking like the same thing as last year...breweries push for 64oz growler for the consumers, distributors lobby lawmakers to tack on amendments that restrict craft breweries and protect the distributors' profits, breweries than have to reverse course and fight against the bill they originally asked for.

Remember, growler size doesn't affect the brewers. A 64oz growler isn't beneficial to the breweries versus what is currently available. It's more for us the consumers

Why do people want 64oz growlers so bad?

    Who cares, get 2 32oz.

In theory, the cost per ounce should go down as you go up in size.

For FL, I do what you mention and just fill two when I want that much.

I don't even have a 32oz. I have 16oz swing-tops. Nobody has not filled them for me. But, of course, I never forget to tip.

is anyone getting a little burnt out with the pale ale/ipa/ and brown ale treatments as of late? yes, they are probably pretty good, but it seems like they are just taking the same adjuncts and rotating them between some pale ale, brown ale, or ipa.

Looks like they are lulling people to sleep intentionally before dropping a MZ/Huna variant. At least that is why I assume people show up every week?

Agree. I haven't gone in forever because it's the essentially the same thing over and over for Growler Tuesday.

They haven't done a big time Growler Tuesday since Rum Barrel Zhukov however long ago that was.
