    Growler Tuesday is Red White and Blue IPA. IPA with red oak, white oak and blueberry. 7.5%ABV $11/32oz growler/crowler.

    Missed today's offering, but I have to say last weeks rum white oak peach was fantastic. Hope that shows up again, awesome tropical flavors.

    Growler Tuesday is here! And lucky for you, with the new law, we're offering 32 & 64oz fills (unless otherwise noted). We even doubled the size of the batch this week. Starting at noon we're filling growlers and crowlers of Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Brown Ale, $9/32oz, $16/64oz. 5.5%ABV.

    Depends on what the offering is and the time of year. A couple of the offerings the last few weeks lasted till around 5pm.

    Hard to judge today's offering. Not much of a crowd at opening but now lots of people coming in since they posted it on the Cigar City FB page. This batch is twice the size and less than half the people are getting 64oz growlers but this is looking to be a more popular offering.

    I thought they didn't tap the Tuesday beer until Noon?? Did they start doing 11am or is this just a scenario of them surveying the line and capping it due to it being longer than the supply would support?

    Officially they don't start till noon. But they do a "presale" line (of growlers and crowlers) starting at 11. It was pretty dead at 11:15 but at 11:40 they stopped taking "pre" and started filling early so they could judge how many more people in line the could take. There is a lot more people in line than they think they'll be able to fill.

    Thanks for that info @Bartos. I figured it was something like that.


    Even if it is a Half Barrel keg, that'd only be 62 perfect fills at 32oz each - less if people went the 64oz fill route.

    Surprisingly... Only two or three people in the first 3 dozen got 64oz fills. I opted forms 32oz fill so I could get a crowler (in case I end up trading it) and because if I do drink it, it will be just me and maybe one buddy...which is not enough people for 64oz of the same beer

    True. Really nice of CCB to post this on their FB at 12:11pm EST - a solid 30min after they stopped selling pre-orders. why even post it?

    I was meeting with a guy from out of town for an IP trade...he got there at about 11:55 and he said the growler Tuesday kicked 2 people after him....which is much later than the bartender predicted it would kick but well before people at noon would have gotten in line
