From the facebook post:
Definitely going to consider making the drive down for this...
Let's see: a helmet, a jersey, a cesta and I'm ready to go!
Shit, I was planning on going just for a lineup of Jai Alai treatments and a good time.
Now it sounds like it'll just be a clusterfuck and a half. Still probably going though.
Looks like another debacle like Founders night. Count me in!
I wasn't too sad that i was going to miss this...and then i saw the tap list earlier today. I wont miss the crowd, but i will miss the beer! Awesome lineup, CCB really putting on a show here.
Don't forget your pelotas, mi amigo.
Always have them!
I wonder how this would impact my 5k the next morning...
110k > 5k
I want that Peach Cherry...
you could literally start anywhere on that list and you'd have a pretty good night.
actually i've had the mango habanero. i wouldnt start there. you may not be able to taste anything else after.
Yep, I was right. Took 30 minutes to get my first pour from the growler bar. That Brainzzzz was worth every second of waiting though.
To the fortunate people that were able to attend, what beers were the highlight of the night?
Almighty was stellar... Best of the night. Braiiiinz was good but '12 Gourd was probably the second best followed by 110k. Chocolate Chip Pancake was a ridiculously good Maduro treatment
I liked the key lime IPA and the sour lemon IPA. The chocolate orange Popsicle was very interesting. I had high hopes for the chocolate peanut butter porter but felt it was too light on the peanut butter. The Good Gourd Almighty was superb as were Life is Like and 110k. As mentioned earlier Brains was very good.
The key lime IPA sounds delicious.
I didn't have anything I didn't like. That Good Gourd Almighty was amazing though.
2012 Gourd was the best non-BA beer I had....makes me want to hold onto my 3 bottles I have left and age them. I really did want to try the Cherry Chocolate Almond Big Sound but it was too much ABV to waste knowing the heavy hitters were getting tapped...anyone try it?
Tried a bit, it was nice. I'm not a big fan of scotch ales but I'd get that one again...
....and most of this stuff will be available in the tasting room this week or soon after with 99% less crowd. I enjoy Mon-Thur much better. Less hipster riff-raff.
Most of this stuff kicked before 10pm on Friday.
Are you saying they don't have more in the back? I remember stuff from other events randomly showing up days later.
Don't know. Are you saying there is?
I'm saying it's likely based on my past experiences and my hounding of their online tap list.
I'm guessing our favorite troll is back...judging by the weird posts to invisible comments
Do yourselves a favor, put kudos on ignore, and your BA experience will be much more memorable.
Omg you have no idea the stupidity that is being said by him... Almost as bad as not admitting wo jai isn't common.
