    local store has a bottle on the shelves. it was brewed in 2010. do i risk the 12bucks or just stick to jai alai?

    Kind of a strange beer, pretty tart if I recall. Go for it if you like a prickly, sour saison.

    I had one 6months ago, huge gusher, totally infected, but likely a better beer as a result. Saisons are my favorite style and I am usually not inclined to the dark saisons, but this is something totally different. It has a vinous character like a milder consecration when I had it.

    I would pick it up and ask for a discount at the register if they give you the heisman, just buy it anyway and sit on it for a little bit, it should tart up. get that pitcher ready for when it detonates.

    It definitely is a gusher now and I feel like the tartness has worn off. I had one about 4 months ago and it was roasty, malty and a slight bit of tartness. When it first came out it was super tart.
