I was down that way today to pick up 110K bottles... Left about 12:30, really bummed that I missed this today. Hope to get a taste sometime soon....

Just tried this, and it's fantastic. I am incredibly excited that CCB is doing sours again. If they put any in barrels for El Catador...I just don't even know.

This was awesome, by far the most sour, and cleanest sour they have made that I have tasted.

Is this the same as guava groove?
Or is it just being called sour guava grove?

Different. There's a sour and non sour version. CCB just said they figured out a new method for stabilizing siurs, so hopefully their sour program will grow.

Ok, so this retailer isn't talking about the sour one then...damn.
I hope some makes it south, I have faith though.

WANT! I drank my last of the old sour batch about a year ago and miss that beer terribly!

Yeah second that. So fucking sour, yet wonderful. Missed white oak Jai Alai due to those wonderful BA's grabbing 2+ plus cases themselves this past weekend but happy I could grab a couple of growlers of this magnificent brew.

I had one of these recently, and thought the "sour" was just thrown in, didn't know it was a different beer. Either way it was nice and sour, just the way I like them!

Guava Groove was made once two years ago and probably won't happen again, any retailer talking about it is minsinformed.

    Ouch, I thought so...
It's Crown Wine and Spirits, they have been getting better though. They got a bunch of Zhukov this year, and Jai Alai as well.
He must have outdated entries in his system. I'll send him an e-mail, hopefully he can get it sorted.
Thanks for the info gunhaver.

I missed the first bottle release... was in the hospital with my wife giving birth to my daughter (pretty solid excuse?) so i'm very happy to actually have a chance to try it!

Well the 2nd kid was the shorter of the hospital stays  3.5 days. The first one was 96 hours of labor, followed by 5 days in the hospital.

Needless to say, no more kids in the plans.

Damn, this sour is so good.
Hopefully they make a ton of this in 750's. This should be a regular. (So should cafe americana)
