    Just posted on their FB:
    Cigar City Brewing
Introducing The Last Spike. This unique beer is our collaboration with our great pals out west, Coronado Brewing. This Transcontinental Collaboration takes a California Common and amps up the hops. We like to call it a Not-So-Common IPA. Bottles are available in the tasting room now for a limited time only, and expect to see these 750mL bottles hit limited distribution soon!

Grabbed a couple (only two, so more for others!) they also have Zhukov back in the tasting room. I try to pretend i'm not going to care about whatever the next release is, but big or small, IPA or stout, this is my face when the twitter feed buzzes on my phone telling me something is at the tasting room....

I had their Empalthy of Vaporization (CA Common) when I was up there and it was okay. I guess that was the base beer for this. If I see it at a ABC I'd pick it up but definitely not hunting this one down

Yeah I'm too busy hunting Life is Like right now to worry about this one too much lol.
But if it gets good reviews I will look harder.
Never heard of Coronado so that doesn't excite me. Kind of like their Auld beer or whatever it was called.

Haven't been a fan of any Coronado so far. Had idiot IPA on tap several months back, wasn't impressed.

Willing to give this a shot though.

100% agree. Not worth seeking out, but if it's there I'll grab it. CCB is just cranking out these releases huh?

Enthalpy uses the same yeast as Last Spike but is a completely different beer otherwise.

IPA releases don't really do much for me.

I drank one of my bottles of last spike last night. It was actually pretty darn good! There was a flavor at the end which I couldn't identify, but I enjoyed the beer.

Last spike smelled amazing... Or was that last Stop? both good, nothing to knock down the door to get, but definitely good.

Has nothing to do with being young and loving stouts and everything to do with I don't want to have to drink it right away. If I was going to drink it I'd go to the tasting room and get a fresh one. I have too many bottles at home as it is to be buying bottles that will degrade faster than I want to drink it.
