Going to 4 packs instead of 6...another price increase from CCB but at least they aren't going to put it in bombers like Puppy's Breath and Jose Marti. I will still buy it in 4 pack cans and hopefully there will be more of it available as suggested.

I thought the last batch they brewed tasted off - if the four-packs are up to the prior standard I'll continue to buy them.

They offered a reasonable explanation for the change. And the pricing will put it on par with White Oak Jai Alai which I feel is pretty reasonable

Citra hops are just too expensive. Word is they were making nothing off Tocabaga in a 6 pack. Pricing it the same as a 4 pack to make it worth producing.

Doesn't matter how good it is. Only high ABV beers belong in 4-pack format. Victory Kirsch Gose is another example.

This is a 50% price increase and people are cool with it?

I get that citra hops are expensive but c'mon...

It puts it in line with the pricing on White Oak Jai Alai, Cubano Espresso, and numerous other 4 pack offerings in stores/from breweries.

It's not aged on wood or any other additional flavors, so I am not sure the comparison holds up.

But hey, if people are willing to pay it, I don't blame CCB for the 50% increase.

Like I said...it is in line with numerous other 4 pack offerings. There are countless IPAs, DIPAs, and even other Red Ales that have similar (or even higher) price per ounce.

Citra is expensive. If the ingredients get more expensive so will the beer.

Bought a few 4Pks of this and was quite happy to do so. Delicious!
