Posted this by accident in the South Forum so doing it here. Will be fling into Orlando next week and then will be making the drive over to Fort Myers. I hope to be able to stop in Tampa at the Brewery but as I will be with the wife and two kids it just might not happen. Anyone give me a heads up on where some of the best stores are fore carrying CCB products. Thanks.
If you take the south entrance out of OIA and then 417 to I-4, Knightly Spirits is right there at the Orange Blossom Trail exit. They usually have a good selection of CCB and plenty of other beers to make the stop worth it.
Don't wait until you get to Ft. Myers. It seems (by posts around here) that they don't get many of the "Limited" releases, just the basics (which are still good). Seeing as you can't make stops in Tampa or St. Pete, I'd follow up on Thirsty's recommendation.
Just to clarify a bit. I may stop in Tampa(or near by) on my way to Fort Myers as I am guessing I will take I-4 to 75, but would like to stay near the HWY if possible. I also assume the best selection of CCB stuff is closest to Tampa.
If you do go to Tampa from Orlando, take I4 to 275, get off at Dale Mabry(go right) and CCB is a left turn on Spruce street less than 1/2 mile after the exit. You can get whatever the brewery is offering there. Also, at that exit you will also see a Total Wine and a Whole Foods on your left before you make the turn on Spruce. They will also have bottles you might not find at brewery.
I would also add that there is a Total Wine right off the University Parkway exit in Sarasota. They usually have a good selection of CCB beers.
