Join us at CCB this Friday for the 3rd annual JaiAlaiWeen. This year’s celebration will be the spookiest yet. We’ll be featuring a scary assortment of beers, campy horror movies and a costume contest with a bone-chillingly awesome prize. Here’s our scary good list of beers: Apple Candy IPA Blue Raspberry Candy IPA Candy Corn IPA Cherry Candy IPA Chocolate Apple Cinnamon Brown Ale Chocolate Candy Brown Ale Chocolate Peanut Butter IPA Chocolate Raisin Brown Ale Cinnamon Candy IPA Frankenstein's Dry-Hopped IPA Grape Candy IPA Rainbow Candy Florida Weisse Raspberry IPA Sour Candy IPA Spooky Blueberry Cereal Brown Ale Spooky Chocolate Cereal Milk Stout Spooky Strawberry Cereal IPA Strawberry Creamsicle IPA Watermelon Candy Gose Plus more!!
I'm interested in the Watermelon Candy Gose, the Rainbow Candy Florida Weisse, and the Spooky Chocolate Cereal Milk Stout
A case where I wish the internet revealed tone. I hope you wrote that with a smile, since I tend to think that's the approach CCB has to its celebration of Halloween! Of course some of the beers will be cringe-worthy (but why not!) while some -- as your rightly point out -- likely will be pretty tasty!
I meant that those beers sound interesting but not sure if the gimmick will translate well when it comes to taste in most of those. I obviously want to be wrong....I guess the true test is if people enjoyed the Chocolate Peanut Butter Jai Alai for Growler Tuesday today.
I think its a cool idea and if I was local I'd be there in a heartbeat The IPAs sound interesting, and these two, yum Spooky Blueberry Cereal Brown Ale Spooky Chocolate Cereal Milk Stout
Thirsty Topher is doing a mini version of this event on Thursday Oct 29th. They will have 5 Jai Alai treatments plus a few other solid CCB options.
Too bad I work at 430 AM the next morning. This whole "job" thing isn't very condusive to my drinking.
Agreed. Jobs are the worst thing to happen to beer-drinking since relationships ... and responsibility in general ...
Agreed! Clermont is about the same distance and I can't see trying to do that! Hell my wife was always worried when I was only driving 10 minutes from @jzeilinger 's place on Fridays! I'd never hear the end of it if I drove to Tampa and back! For me it's not getting up for a job the next morning, it's having to be a responsible parent!
Stupid parenthood! I'm in the same boat. If an event/release/share is happening on a weeknight or on the weekend, then I won't be attending. I have to get all my brewery stops, bottle releases, etc. in during the day on weekdays.
The Watermelon Candy Gose and Spooky Chocolate Cereal Imperial Milk Stout were not only on target but also REALLY drinkable!
