It was about what I expected; I spent more time in the specialty tap line than watching dodgeball. That's not a surprise with those taps, but it was a bit of a shock going from walking right in for Cherry Rye (more on that in a second) to a lengthy wait for coffee. Eventually, I got in the rythym of getting a whale, peeing, grabbing a normal beer, and drinking it in line.

My one real complaint was the entry line. It was crazy long and didn't move that well. I'm not sure why they sent me an E-ticket if they're going to check the list anyways. If it were me, I would start checking people in a half hour before pours start. The one plus is the lines weren't that crazy for the first hour.

Other than that, it was fun. I got an extra ounce or 2 of VR from a fellow Sox fan, so it was worth the other shit I took for my apparel. A cool gentleman from Hopewell also shared some Cherry Rye from the brewer supply.

Sorry to the Mikerphone team member that didn't get to use the portojohn before the match. I tried to help by letting you go in front of me!

I also had a great time at 4th annual battle of the breweries dodgeball tourney (Sunday Funday). All of the Bourbon County variants were delicious as expected. GI Foudre Project and Old Man Grumpy were also very enjoyable. I thought Foudre was more refreshing than Lolita. The Truffle BLT sandwich from The Fat Shallot really hit the spot. I agree with Zoomslowik about not having a lot of time to watch the actual Dodgeball with all the time spent in the specialty tap lines.

Grand Prestige was the non BCS standout for me at Sunday Funday. That beer was killer. Will definitely be buying any bottles I see laying around.

Been sitting on a bottle, last few times I've had folks over they're just not interested. I'm scared to dome the bottle at that size & ABV...
