Celebrating Milestones: Personal & Breweries

    Pushing 70 fast, I'm getting sensitive to Milestones. So, I've been noticing some of my favorite brewers also are celebrating their Milestones. But unlike me, they know how to brew. Here are Milestones I've drank (starting from most recent and for the last twelve months.)

    * New Glarus' 30th Anniversary Quad; glad I bought two 4-packs to share with friends.
    * Off Color's Decabeer; a saison celebrating their 10 years of having fun and spreading it.
    * Ommegang's 25th Anniversary Ale; a Belgian Strong that includes Grains of Paradise, same as Hennepin
    * St. Bernardus' 75th Anniversary; a nice tripel, the only of the four above that was corked

    Please feel free to comment on mine and add those Milestone celebrations you've had in the last year.

    Nice write-up, and nice list of breweries/beers. I've never gone out of my way to get milestone beers from breweries. Oh I've had some, but only because they were easy to get. The exception is for Bell's which I believe has brewed an anniversary beer every 5 years for at least the past 20 years. But those have also been easy to get, although I've made it a point to buy them. I think they've all been in distro, although I live close enough to the brewery that I'm certain that I've gone to the General Store to make sure that I'd get some of them. They're always something special.

    Congratulations on your milestones, personal and milestone beers, and thanks for the great thread idea! I enjoyed the New Glarus Quad, haven't tried the others but they sound great.

    I've also enjoyed the Bell's Anniversary beers over the years @PapaGoose03

    Locally, I enjoyed The Beer Temple's 10th Anniversary collaboration with Beachwood (Outnumbered by Animals). In December, Spiteful released an anniversary WCIPA for their 10th and I hope they bring this back again (A Decade of Spite).

    In Vegas this Winter, I had my first go at Hop Nuts' annual Anniversary Triple IPA and it was the best Triple I've ever had, even Pliny the Younger.
