not trying to be a dick here, just that i've been pondering the same thing with a tax deduction on the way in the coming days... do i go to the closet and start refridgerating beers? na i'll probably just grab a nice bunch of bubbly that i like and keep the beer for when i'm alone or with a beer geek

If you're still in the market for trying the New Glarus fruit beers (Wisconsin Belgium Red or Raspberry Tart) let me know, I just came back from NG with a few bottles.

Drink as much as you can now. A new baby has a way of cutting into your drinking time.

Honestly, it all depends on what YOU like and what YOU'LL remember for the occasion. If you were me, and you're not, I'd want a four-pack of Heady Topper by my side. Maybe more. But don't let anyone tell you Topper or Stone 10th if you don't like DIPAs. Just drink something you love.

Plus one to this. As much as I love beer, I could drink champagne every day. Especially rose champagne.

Okay, I'm confused, did I mention I was having a baby? Or did someone else?
Although on that note I do have a 2 year old and a 4 month old, and it does tend to cut into my drinking.... But that doesn't stop me from trying

SN Celebtration is good for celebrations. I think it should be available by October.

You've got some time, so I'd strongly suggest trying to track down some of the Biere de Champagne from Enlightenment Ales. The very definition of a celebration beer. I've had some at ACBF, and again last night at the Mass Brewers Guild Fest. Ben is just flat out killing it with this beer....so tasty, and again, at 11% ABV, it's for sure a special event type beer.
