New up and coming brewery out of North Hills, CA. Had their raspberry cherry sour and it was amazing. They just released their first beer today.

Read about them in L.A. Beer Paper awhile back. Seems like a cool project, for sure.

Wish I was a bit closer to North Hills (Redondo's not exactly next door at all). But membership program's a good idea for them if they're going to mimic the successes of The Rare Barrel.

Kevin is bomb, yo. Dat woodshop 10 beer they were pouring was the sleeper.

They do things with those Monsanto fruits, as Ms. Fullpint would say, that are noise makers.

Look forward to their future bottle releases. You just don't even know what magic they work

Haha i think you mean Masumoto. I don't know of any brewers that have resorted to experimental fruits yet.

That's funny. Masumoto and Monsanto are on opposite ends of the agricultural spectrum.

Honestly, I am not familiar with these guys and couldn't find a lot of info on the beer they have/do brew. What types of beer do they typically (sour, stout, IPA, etc.) and what's their best beer(s)?

They are nothing but nice folks who make awesome beer. They are part of that Masamoto picking crew, so they do a lot of sours with stone fruit in them.

I had the ++good Mosaic and thought it was a very well made hoppy tart saison but I just tried Palimpsest and was kinda blown away. Serious barrel character and balanced acidity. Reminded me of some lost RR sour. Stoked they let me join the Syndicate even after they had closed for new members. My body is ready for all the fruited stuff.

Blindly got a membership with these guys when they first offered them. Finally, I was able to try one of their beers last night, Palimpsest. Really tasty, very well done for coming right out the gate. Very tart, but really complex stuff. Cannot wait to try more offerings and see this club come to fruition. Props to the guy above me for the recommendation on Palimpsest.
