    so far ive had the following beers from them...

    akimbo - table sour aged in chardonnay barrels w masumoto peaches and dry hopped w nelson sauvin
    ++ good mosaic
    ++ good citra
    caute -table saison aged in red wine barrels dry hopped with czech saaz
    et cetera - oak aged sour saison w raspberries & black tartarian cherries
    walden-brown sour aged in a garrison brothers bourbon barrel w dried cherries and raisins
    firegold - funky farmhouse ale brewed with mosaic and el dorado and aged on oranges & orange peel
    unnamed sour with blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries (potentially the 750ml release is the word on this one)

    all were really damn good! stoked on next years membership and i have a feeling people will be regretting not signing up once the wheels really start turning (they already have, but i mean full force)

    I joined also. I've only had one of their beers which was Caute. It was all needed to know these guys are the real deal. Certainly didn't taste like 1st year brewery.Just as complex as anything I've had here in the LA area.

    These guys might very well kill it but I am seriously sick to fucking death of "buy now or cry later" with unknown brands. Depressing paradigm we have all created in our eagerness to not be left out. Long for the days when brewers had to prove themselves to be successful, instead of just waving a loss of privileges under your nose.

    I dunno, I think Kevin's done a good job at proving himself and isn't using any sort of loss of privileges under folks faces since there will be a slew of public releases, hell, it's already on some store shelves like Vendome, Valley Beverage and the such. The membership isn't exclusive other than ability to buy first and a handful of beers that are lower in bottle count.

    But, I mean, winning the Bruery home brew competition and getting it made in to a bruery release, as well as being part of the Masumoto crew is pretty much proving of oneself here.

    I think he's lamenting the state we're in overall, rather than just Cellador specifically. I'm inclined to agree with him.

    I get this. At least they had levels which started at like $150ish. I think that is doable for an unknown brewery if you look at it almost like a kickstart or go fund me thing. I wouldn't have joined for $300 but for $150, I will give them a shot. If I just bought 3-4 bottles of theirs to try I would spend about $50, whats a little more?

    SARA already has a beer named Palimpsest. Interesting name choice.

    they werent aware of this before making it, because it was a sara cellar bottle. i spoke with kevin about it recently and they made over 2000 new labels for variants of that beer, but out of respect for SARA, they decided to not do variants and change the name moving forward.

    needless to say, they ate the costs on the labels and threw them away.

    But bottle logic is technically darkstar november, and I think the fremont even has other words added to the full name.

    Confuzzled sounds really tasty. I absolutely love those particular fruits. Curious to see if this ends up a member release or public.

    member releases are darker, almost black labels, so it will be public (with members getting first crack at it, im sure)
