Hello all. I searched extensively for a similar thread but did not see one. If I have duplicated a previous thread, I apologize. I am very interested in reading and/or seeing your ideas for beer cellar construction. As beer vessels differ in material, size, and shape, they present design challenges that are beyond those of a typical wine cellar. To this point, I have been cellaring in my basement office. As I build my collection, I am looking for unique display and storage inspiration. I am a cabinet maker who has built many wine cellars over the past couple of decades. Even with that experience, I wonder what a functional and fun beer cellar could look like. Things to consider: Control of light, humidity, and temperature. Display racks and shelving for various vessels. Incorporation of a serving area. Storage of cases and casks. Rare beer display area. Fun and whimsical ideas. I am especially eager to see your photographs of your own projects. Thank you.
I don't have anything to offer per se, but I'd love to see what you come up with given your skill-set. Cheers and best of luck
I wish I could be more specific but I do recall a couple posts detailing the process of building a custom cellar...maybe check some of the older cellar photo threads? Would require a lot of scrolling but I swear I've seen some pretty awesome photo sets showing what people have built.
