So, I've seen some aged bottles around that I'm thinking about picking up. I think the oldest one I've had is a 2010 and that was last year.

    Does this one cellar well?
    What characteristics change?
What year(s) have really stood out to you?

    Cheers.

Yes. It became slightly sweet and had a lovely bready taste to it after 2 years. Other than relatively fresh, two years is the only other age I've tried. For the price, they are worth it.

This is a good beer to tuck away in the cellar.

I have 24 of those babies in my cellar. This beer ages wonderfully. The booziness cuts down a lot, making everything much smoother. You get a very subtle port/sherry character to it along with the rum and raisin flavors. Everything seems to be a little more well rounded after a few years. Highly recommend aging it.
