Yes to all these. I've got a Sierra Nevada Oliva Dubbel I've had in my basement for a few months. and Allagash and Ommegang are both on my shopping list.

I'm in fairfax and I've had great luck at the Total Wine there!

That's a great place. The one in Chantilly is much larger, so check that one out

Where in VA are you? the Total Wine near me has been trying to get rid of them at$7.50 a 4 pack. I found a 4 pack with 3 2010/2011 and 1 2011/2012. Nova mind you.

Bells Expedition Stout and Third Coast Old Ale
    Victory Horizontal Barleywine
    Three Philosophers
    Strong Dark Trappists
    Hoppin Frog Stouts

Careful, there aren't a whole lot of common, inexpensive beers that sit well for years.

Those are three 12 oz that I know age well.

Also Stone IRS, but it's a bomber.

I haven't had great experience with Rasputin.

Expedition Stout and Third Coast Old Ale hold up well in my experience. Brooklyn BCS, not so much, but it's cheap enough you may want to try a couple bottles.

Does Choklat really age well? I'm curious what happens to it with the age.
And what about Tiny? Any particulars?
    Thanks.

For the Choklat, no, no it doesn't age well IMO. Not at all. We're all entitled to our own opinion, but to me, this beer is dead in about 8 months after bottling. Loses a lot of what makes it great, the chocolate.

I was in a pretty similar spot when i started my cellar 6 months ago. I threw some third coast olde ale and bourbon county down there to start and it grows over time. I love taking inventory every so often

    I live in an apratment...

but nonetheless, I went out and did some stocking based on this thread I got

    4x Old Rasputin
    4x Yeti
a Lambic from Christmas (Drink it this weekend, yum!)
Seirra Nevada Dubbel (had it for about 8 months)
Blue Mountain Brewery Dark Hollow (had it for about 6 months)
I also have a Rouge Chocolate Stout in there, but it won't be for long

I've definitely got room to expand
