cellar temperature control devices?

    I would look for either a small fridge or freezer (with temp controller), or better still, a wine cooler. Craigslist can be your friend when looking for such things.
    If you plan to be there long term, maybe you can negotiate with the landlord to make some improvements, as long as they don't drastically change the place.
