Drank a Pretty Things barleywine and a Jackie O's BA brick kiln so far this summer. Added a Hand and Seal this past week. Pretty sure we're going to get into a BCBW tomorrow night. After that, we don't break into anything until the snow falls. I'm not rushing it!

Just starting to build a cellar, what an awesome endeavor! Just traded for Abyss, some Tiny, Supplication, among other things. Really excited to keep trading and try some aged stuff!

Lived in CA for 34 years, 11 of them in the bay area. I have felt less than a dozen earthquakes, and have lost or damaged exactly zero possessions. Yes, we have active faults up and down the coast, but it really isn't what the East Coast makes it out to be.

[now that I say this, the big one will probably hit and I'll be stuck in the City all weekend. Good thing I brought my Cellarmaker growler into work today!]

Haha, I learned it from watching you! I think we're now in the market for a second Craig's List refrigerator/freezer.

I used to stalk Criagslist for fridges more obsessively than beer forums. I miss those days when i actually needed three fridges....

How's the temperature btw . Does it hold steady or is there big variation now that the fridge is so full?

My cellar is about 90 or so bottles, packed in boxes in my upstairs hall closet. Hangs around 65-75 degrees year round, but I haven't experienced any real bad bottles even after 5 years at room temp.

It really helps me that my cellar is a bunch of boxes that are unorganized and unlabeled. I'm imagining me going down to the basement, seeing all my beers lined up and organized (like many of the pictures), and being unable to help myself. The way my basement is, I can go retrieve a hammer or lobster pot or whatever and not even think about grabbing a cellared beer.
