Weyerbacher Insanity tastes great with a year on it.. I'm assuming Hoppin' Frog BA Naked Evil will age wonderfully, but it's too early to tell..

I haven't been cellaring beers for too long. About the only aged BW I've had that is worth mentioning is 2007 Avery Samael. It was really, really good.

If my memory serves I've only had 2 aged barleywines. Brooklyn Monster and Bigfoot, they were both damn good. I vastly preferred the Monster aged versus fresh. You have to be careful with Bigfoot because in my experience it goes through a weird phase in the first few years of aging where it isn't as good as it is fresh or as good as it will be down the road.

If we're including barrel aged stuff then I'd throw a vote down for Kuhnhenn's Bourbon Barrel Barleywine. The brewery aged '08 was fantastic. I know a lot of people prefer barrel aged beers fresh and a lot of times I do as well but this one definitely bucks that trend in my mind.

I've omitted the ones that have been mentioned once so far, but I'm keeping track so if they get another nod, I'll include them. The list was getting too long.

Abacus has been aging very nicely. I can only imagine Sucaba will do the same.
