It certainly won't hurt to have some in the cellar as it will change and hold up for maybe 3 or so years. That said I'd drink it fresh since one highlight on this beer is the gesho root used to bitter. Like any other spice it will drop off over time. I've had a bottle of about 2 year old Bitch's Brew and the flavors had held up fine but not really an improvement.

Any thoughts on BA Speedway? I came across a '13 and wondered if it would be worth the $.

Both Speedway and DFH BB age very well. BB aged a year is great, one of the best non-BA stouts I have had.

How would you describe the flavor profile as opposed to a fresh BB

Mellow, did not taste like a High ABV stout at all. Seemed sweeter and just easier to drink.

I had a Vanilla Rye recently, was right at 4 months old. I think it will continue to get better. It was not a vanilla bomb like I heard. It was very sweet, almost syrup like, and was not overy hot or boozy. Very good. I bet it will be incredible at 1yr

Stick with Founders Imperial. That beer ages like an absolute dream, easily as good as Expedition.

Agreed. I have several again now. I had one at 3 years and it was a dream.

Stone RIS also ages well and so does their Xochoveza.

How long do you like to age Brooklyn Black Chocolate? I recently had my first, a winter 14-15 vintage, so about a year old, and it tasted a little off (sour) to me. Is it better if you age it longer?

Yet to see a new holland dragon milk stout in here I can vouch for it be satisfying fresh but I've yet to try one age. As I have a pack from 2015 doing that this very moment. Any thoughts?

I like them 1-3 years of age. I have never held onto them longer than that. I unfortanetly did grab the last two years of it to see if there was a difference between years.

What is everyone's opinion on cellaring Huna? I've always drinking it fresh and loved it, but considering cellaring this years.
