I've been using the CellarHQ site to keep track of my beers, they are closing down 9/1. :slight_frown:

Anybody using a similar setup they like?

You could try exporting to the The Beer Cellar as @Davl22 posted in the Cellaring beer forum. He encountered the same issue as you.

The only downside was the bottle dates and quantity didn’t transfer over so I had to manually input them again. Luckily my cellar is smaller than it used to be.

I recently transferred over to this and had the same issue above on my first crack at it; and I have a big enough cellar I was not interested in fixing things manually. But after doing a little digging on Google and reading the site FAQ there are two easy work arounds.

For date, the excel formula =text(CELL, "yyyy-mm-dd") will change the date to the proper format where CELL is the location (A2) of a cell. Then a quick drag, copy, paste and all the dates are fixed.

For quantity you just have to rename the header from the CSV export from CellarHQ.

So far, I've found the new site to be just as handy and has some fun stuff to it. I liked CellarHQ but the new one will suffice.

Straight up I just use Google Docs and Excel to keep track of my beer.
