I just acquired some of Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 19 Oatwine.

The description by the brewer is here: https://www.saintarnold.com/divine-reserve-no-19/

Is this a candidate for aging? it has cinnamon and nutmeg in it, how will aging effect the spices?

never heard of an Oatwine before. love Wheatwines and Barleywines though, so I'd be interested in giving it a shot.

It's actually an English Barelywine with oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg to play homage to an oatmeal raisin cookie. I just tried one, its boozy but with a hint of spices, I think its going to cellar well.

My experience with nutmeg and cinnamon is that the nutmeg lingers the longest, with cinnamon dropping off within a few months. Drink them now, save some for 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, and see where it stops tasting its best for you.
